116 <br />Council Meeting <br />October 11, 1983 <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the bid of Century Fence in the amount of <br />$4317.00 for the materials and installation of the fence, nets and net <br />poles at the Arean Acres Tennis Courts. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the bid of Century Fence for the materials <br />for the fence on the South line of Lino Park, fence to be installed <br />by City crews, in the amount of $731.00. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />COUNTRY LAKES PARK BID <br />The Park Board had recommended that the bid be rejected and requested <br />authorization for re- advertisement. Mr. Kulaszewicz so moved. <br />Seconded by Mr. Reinert. Moiton carried unanimously. <br />ANOKA COUNTY LIBRARY REQUEST <br />After some discussion on this request, Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to turn <br />this matter over to Mr. Kluegle to research a possible site to be pre- <br />sented to the Council for their consideration. Seconded by Mr. Marier <br />Motion carried unanimosuly. <br />ORDINANCE #10 -83 AMENDING LIQUOR RULES 2nd READING. <br />This proposed ordinance amends the Liquor Ordinance by adding 'or Local' <br />to the election requirements for closing liquor establsihments on Election <br />Day. Mr. Marier moved to waive the reading of this ordinance and adopt <br />the ordinance as written. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />BOARD MEMBER FOR VADNAIS LAKE AREA WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />Mayor Benson noted that Mr. Reinert had been involved in the forming of <br />this organization and asked if eh would continue and Mr. Reinert agreed. <br />Mr. Marier moved to appoint Mr. Reinert to this position, Seconded by <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz. MOtion carried unanimously. <br />SUMMARY ORDINANCE - SHORELAND MANAGEMENT <br />Mayor Benson noted this would be in leiu of publishing the entire <br />ordinance and noting that the entire ordinance is available at the City <br />offices. Mr. Reinert moved to authorize this publication. Seconded by <br />Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimoulsy. <br />CLERKS's REPORT <br />The Clerk reported there had only been one name, that of Mr. Herb <br />Johnson , submitted to serve on the Cable TV Board. <br />Mayor Benson boted that Mr. Johnson had served on the original Board <br />and would accept this appointment. Mr. Marier moved to appoint Mr. Herb <br />Johnson as the City's representative on the Cable TV Advisory Board. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz.
