The Lino Lakes City Council allocated $3,000.00 of its <br />1984 CDBG funding to the Alexandra House, Inc. and the <br />balance of its 11984 appropriation for the completion <br />of its Senior Center. <br />3. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Marier moved to extend the adjournment time for 30 minutes. Seconded <br />by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION OF CITY's LEGAL NEWSPAPER <br />Ms. Oppergard of the Quad Community Press, Mr. Duane Rasmussen of the <br />Forest Lake Times and Mr. Adnrew Gibas of the Circulatiang Pines each <br />presented their respective papers and proposals for service to the City <br />of Lino Lakes noting their curculating numbers and the areas that are <br />covered by the papers. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to name the Circulating Pines as the Legal Paper <br />for the City of Lino Lakes for 1984. Seconded by Mr. Reinert. Motion <br />failed on a 3 to 2 vote. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to name the Quad Comrrunity Press as the legal paper for <br />the City of Lino Lakes for 1984. This motion died for lack of a second. <br />Mayor Benson felt there had been some new ideas presented at this <br />meeting and at this timehe was not prepared to make a decision on <br />this issue. He felt the new ideas should be studied before a decision <br />is made. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to table this Agenda item.
