1 <br />203 <br />March 26, 1984 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement be referred to Mr.John Davidson of TKDA <br />for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all <br />convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether <br />the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether is should best <br />be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and <br />the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Council this 26th day of March 1984. <br />42,4ta_, <br />Edna L. Motion carried unanimously. <br />AWARDING BIDS FOR CEILING AND CARPET IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />Mr. Volk presented the bids for the installation of the ceiling and the <br />quotes as follows: Architectural Sales - $1,960.00; Ceilings, Inc. - <br />$1,964.00. <br />Mr Kulaszewicz moved to approve the bid as submitted by Architectural <br />Sales of Minnesota in the amount of $1,960.00. Seconded by Mr. Reinert. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Volk presented the bids for the installation of carpet for the floor <br />and raised platform in the Council Chambers. There were two quotes; <br />North Country Interiors - $2,056.00; Architecturea Sales - $2,775.00. <br />Mr.Kulaszewicz moved to approve the bid of North Country Interiors in <br />the amount of $2,056.00. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />SECOND LEVEL STORAGE - MATERIALS <br />Mr. Volk presented the specifications for the construction of this <br />storage area. The area will be 10x80 along one side of the storage <br />building to be used by the Road Department, Police Department and the <br />Park Department. Mr. Volk had requested bids for just the materials and <br />Interstate Lumber had submitted a bid in the amount of $2,137.30; GM <br />Lumber in the amount of $2,243.56. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve the bid from Interstate Lumber in the amount <br />of $2,137.30. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />A recess was called at this point in the meeting. The meeting <br />reconvened. <br />
