May 14, 1984 <br />229 <br />Mr. SChumacher also reported on the probem with Bert's C afe who have <br />not renewed their cigarette license. Mr. Hawkins pointed out they are <br />selling cigarettes without a licnese. The Clerk is to send him the name <br />and address of tihs establishment and he will prosecute. <br />Mr. Bruggerman had arreived and the Council informed him that his issue <br />had been discussed and the results of that discussion, and asked if he <br />had any further comments. <br />Mr. Bruggeman presented his reasons for this requeist noting that in <br />order to comply with the City's standards, he would be destroying trees <br />which should be kept for the enviorment. <br />Acting Mayor Reinert suggested that Mr. Davidson and Mr. Bruggerman be <br />at the same meeting and then some meaningful discussion could be <br />exchanged. <br />HOUSE MOVED -IN - KEN GOURLEY <br />Mr. Gourley had submitted an application for permission to move a house <br />in on 2nd Avenue. This house is approximately 50 years old and is in <br />Roseville and is presently being used as an insurance office. Mr. <br />Kluegel had inspected thishome and lsited the work to be done before <br />an occupancy permit is issued. The wiring and plumbing must be brought <br />up to code. The outside is stucco and needs to be replaced - also a <br />new roof. <br />Mr.Kluegel noted this move -in had been approved by the Planning and <br />Z oning Board. <br />MR. Marier moved to approve the recommendations of the Planning and <br />Zoning to allow Mr. Gourley to move in this home with the repairs and <br />updating to be completed by the end of August. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />8;30 P.M. PUBLIC HEARING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT BOB KOHL <br />This Public Hearing was opened at 8:30 P.M. Mr. Kluegel noted this <br />application is for an on -site septic system and a auto and truck sales <br />and repair. Mr. Kluegel noted the construction proposed is a pole type <br />building. He then read the comments of Mr. Bill Short on this proposed <br />installation. <br />Mr. Kluegel noted the landscaping plan had been prepared and pointed out <br />the fence that is to be installed. <br />Mr. Kluegel noted this is a permitted use in the General Business area <br />and the Planning adn Zoning had recommended approval of the Site and <br />Building plans as submitted by Mr. Kohl to include details. The <br />Planning and Zoning had recomemnded that the repair business be a support <br />rather than the primary use of the site. <br />Mr. Kohl stated that the repair work would be done on the cars to make <br />them saleable. <br />Mr. Reinert qeustioned the use of water in cleaning the cars - wouldn't <br />he be smarter to connect to the sewer available on the West side of the <br />street. Mr.Kohl said he would not run the water into the septic system. <br />
