237 <br />May 29, 1984 <br />Mr. Bohjanen made note of the fact that there are only two buildings <br />in the City where elections may be held - the City Hall and St. Joe's <br />1 Church. <br />1 <br />1 <br />RESOLUTION #84 -12 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO SPLIT THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA INTO TWO PRECINCTS FOR VOTING PURPOSES <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes now has only one precinct, and <br />WHEREAS, the population of the City of __Lino Lakes has increased <br />over the past several years, and <br />WHEREAS, the registered voters have increased to a point to where it <br />is no longer feasible to have only one polling place. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that; <br />1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to form two <br />precincts within the City. <br />2. The dividing line of the precincts hall be I35W, <br />Precinct I shall be all lands lying to the North <br />and West of I35W. Precinct II shall be all lands <br />lying South and East of I35W. The Polling Place <br />for Precinct I shall be at the Lino Lakes City <br />Hall. The Polling Place for Precinct II shall be <br />at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 29th day of May, 1984. <br />144t.K.tu 4 <br />Edna L. Motion carried with Mr. Bohjanen and Mr. Marier voting, No. <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT BOB KOHL <br />Mayor Benson opened this public hearing at 8:40 P.M. Mr. Kluegel noted <br />this is a continuation of this hearing that was scheduled for the May <br />14, 1984 meeting. <br />Mr. Kluegel noted that the main point in the Planning and Zoning <br />recommedations was that the repair side of this business be of a <br />supportive nature to the used car sales lot. Mr. Short's comments on the <br />fact that this location is the front door of the City and should be an <br />asset, not a junk yard, was read into the record. <br />
