Motion carried with Mr. Reinert voting, No. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85 -01 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE <br />CONTROL DATA BUSINESS ADVISORS, INC. JOINT <br />COMPERABLE WORTH STUDY <br />WHEREAS: Minnesota Statutes 471.991 enacted in 1984 requires all <br />political subdivisions in the State to establish equit- <br />able compensation relationships among its employees; and <br />WHEREAS: The Metropolitan Area Management Association, the Coalit- <br />ion of Outstate Cities, the Minnesota Municipal Utilities <br />Association and other related public jurisdictions desire <br />to meet the requirements of. the law through a joint job <br />evaluation study; and <br />WHEREAS The Metropolitan Area Management Association in consultation <br />with representatives of outstate cities and after meeting and <br />confering with representatives of organized labor screened <br />and selected Control Data Business Advisors, Inc. as the con- <br />sultant to perform the study; and <br />WHEREAS: The cost of the study is to be divided among the participat- <br />ing jurisdictions in the following manner: Each entity will <br />pay a base charge of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) and <br />charge per employee of Thirty -five Dollars ($35.00) per person. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />that it hereby approves participation of the City in the Joint Comperable <br />Worth Study to be conducted by Control Data Business Advisors, Inc. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $3,455.00 based on the above <br />specified formula be transmitted to the City of Golden Valley Minnesota <br />which city has offered to serve as the fiscal agent and contractor for <br />the duration of the study. <br />Dated the Eleventh day of Februa l 5:-7 r--- <br />L.Ltt Ltiz <br />Marilyn d Anderson, Clerk - Treasurer <br />ayor :enjami `G.
