He explained he had been a Lino Lakes re-
serve police officer and he had yet to meet a bad Lino Lakes or Circle -
Lexington police officer. The Lino Lakes Police Department had pro-
vided excellent service when he and his family needed it. He said if
any citizen has a complaint they should contact Chief Campbell and not
waste any more of the Council's time.___.
Mayor Benson asked that the Police Department and White Bear Animal
Control be notified of the dog problem in Mr. Johnson's neighborhood.
CONSIDERATION OF A PRESENTATION BY GARY UHDE REGARDING LAKES ADDITION #3
Mr. Uhde representing G.M. Development and Regency Homes appeared be-
fore the Council. He explained he had recently purchased over forty
lots for Northern States Power Company and plans to develop them. For
marketing purposes the area is now being called Reshoneau Estates. His
proposal for developing this area will be considered by the Planning
and Zoning Board on Wednesday evening. The Army Corp of Engineers has
some concerns about the grading of ponds and they also may address de-
velopment of the City owned Black Duck lots. For this reason, he asked
the Council to delay awarding bids on the sale of these lots until the
Army Corps gives some decision as to their development. Mr. Uhde fur-
ther explained he has a permit from Rice Creek Watershed District and
the Department of Natural Resources said they have no jurisdiction in
this area. Written permits or notices will be required to obtain G.I.
and FHA financing.
Mayor Benson questioned where the ponds will be located. Mr. Uhde said
they will be constructed on the north portion of Outlot F. Regarding
the City owned Black Duck lots, Mr. Schumacher explained he has ob-
tained a letter from the Army Corp of Engineers stating they have no
concern if construction on these lots are above the 886' elevation.
Mr. Uhde gave some information on his background. His major company
is UD Development and is concerned with site development and gave
completed projects from small developments to developments in excess
of 2.5 million dollars. The Lakes Addition #3 area fits very well into
his type of business. He has been in business since 1970 and is a
member of several builders associations. He also owns akusiness
involved in building commercial buildings.
Mayor Benson thanked Mr. Uhde for coming this evening.
CONSIDERATION OF AWARDING BIDS ON CITY OWNED BLACK DUCK LOTS
Mr. Marier moved to table this item until after Mr. Davidson has pre-
sented his water supply evaluation study report this evening.
