Mr. Schumacher <br />explained the staff does make an effort to determine <br />if there will be a quorum in advance and then notify <br />the other members when there is not a quorum. <br />Mr. Marier had talked to Mr. Scherer and Mr. Scherer <br />indicated his biggest concern was the Board not calling <br />their meetings at specific times and dates. Mr. Schumacher <br />explained there had been some special meetings. <br />Mr. Ross from the audience asked the Council Liaison <br />to be more involved with the Park Board. <br />Mr. Reinert asked that Mr. Schumacher and Mr. Bohjanen <br />talk to the Chairman and resolve the problems and report <br />back to the Council. <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Mr. Hawkins did not have a report. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS <br />A. Two Year Teamster's Local # 320 Contract - Mr. Kulaszewicz <br />moved to approve the Ways and Means Committee recommendation <br />for the Teamster's Local #320 contract. Mr. Reinert seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION OF A JOINT RESOLUTION #85 -15 APPROVING MINNESOTA <br />LAWS, 1985, CHAPTER 90, UTILITIES COMMISSION MEMBERSHIP <br />The resolution is required by the State of Minnesota approving <br />the laws passed by the State of Minnesota allowing the City <br />of Circle Pines and the City of Lino Lakes to determine <br />the number of members of the Circle Pines Utility Commission. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adopt Resolution #85 -15 and waive <br />the reading. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION #85 -15 <br />A JOINT RESOLUTION APPROVING MINNESOTA LAWS, 1985, CHAPTER <br />90, UTILITIES COMMISSION MEMBERSHIP <br />WHEREAS: The Cities of Circle Pines and Lino Lakes have <br />requested the State of Minnesota to enact a law <br />permitting the Cities of Circle Pines and Lino <br />Lakes to determine the size of the Circle Pines <br />Utility Commission, and <br />083. <br />
