1
1
1
COUNCIL MEETING
August 26, 1985
Page Thirteen ,
Mr.Reinert moved to accept Mr. Fagerstrom's proposal
for six hours of service for $300.00. Mr. Marier seconded
the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
C. Developer's Agreement - Mr. Reinert suggested that the
Council have a discussion to determine how the Council
should handle developers agreements so that there will
be some consistency in the future. He felt that the
contents of the contractor's agreement have not yet
been clearly established. He would like to review
the tapes of the January 28, 1985 meeting as well as
the minutes so that the intent of the developers agreement
can be clearly established.
D. Forest Lake School District Meeting - Mr. Bohjanen
was unable to attend the meeting of August 21, 1985
and Mr. Marier asked Mr. Schumacher to set a meeting
with the school district to let them know the concerns
of this Council in regards to their impact on the Lino
Lakes tax base and what will happen in the future.
NEW BUSINESS
A. Application for Tax Forfeit Lands -Mrs. Anderson explained
the County has sent her applications for several parcels
of tax forfeit land. These parcels are outlots in
the Sunset Oaks addition as well as Lot 5, Block 7
and Lot 2, Block 11. The outlots were platted for
future street construction, Lot 5, Block 7 contains
a tot lot and Lot 2, Block 11 contains a holding pond.
Other parcels now tax forfeit are in the Lake Addition
area; the southern portion of Outlot F, Lakes Addition
#3 and Lots 6, 7, 8, and 9, Block 5 in Lakes Addition
#2.
Mrs. Anderson recommended that all the tax forfeit
lands in Sunset Oaks be obtained for City use. Outlot
F in Lakes Addition #3 could only serve open space
purposes. The lots on Captain's Place are low and
marshy and are bordered by private property.
Mr. Reinert questioned the easement between Lots 14
and 15 of Block 12 and who would service the drainage
if Outlot F were to become private property. Mr. Reinert
asked that it be established if there is a drainage
easement in this area.
085
