COUNCIL MEETING <br />August 26, 1985 <br />Page Two <br />1. A hearing shall be held on the 23rd day of <br />September, 1985 in the City Hall at 7:30 <br />P.M. to pass upon such proposed assessment <br />and at such time and place all persons owning <br />property affected by such improvement will <br />be given an opportunity to be heard with <br />reference to such assessment. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause <br />a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment <br />to be published once in the official newspaper <br />at least two (2) weeks prior to the hearing, <br />and she shall state in the notice the total <br />cost of the improvement. She shall also <br />cause mailed notice to be given to the owner <br />of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll not less than two (2) weeks prior to <br />the hearing. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 26th day of August, 1985. <br />{ ` - 1' <br />Benjamin G. Roselyn VanElsberg - Preliminary Plat, Variance to <br />Lot Size & Width (Set Public Hearing for September <br />23, 1985, 8:00 P.M) - Mr. Reinert moved to set the <br />public hearing as requested. Mr. Bohjanen seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />B. Steven Bailey - Metes and Bounds Conveyance - Mr. <br />Kluegel explained this is a request from Mrs. Helen <br />Rykl for conveyance of a parcel of land containing <br />twenty (20) acres and 500 feet of frontage to Mr. Bailey. <br />This parcel is in the rural zone and meets the require- <br />ments of the Planning ordinance. The Planning and <br />Zoning Board did recommend Council approval. <br />
