076
COUNCIL MEETING
August 26, 1985
Page Four
D. Dorothy Kvitek - Metes and Bounds Conveyance, Variance to
Lot Width and Platting Ordinance - Mr. Kluegel explained
this is a request from Mrs. Kvitek for conveyance of
a parcel of land containing five (5) acres with a frontage
of 270.5 feet from her father's estate to herself.
This parcel was willed to her upon her father's death
in the spring of 1985. The parcel meets the ordinance
requirements for five (5) acres but does not meet the
frontage requirements. The House of Praise is located
to the west of this parcel and there is another residence
to the east therefore no other frontage can be obtained.
The variance is requested for 270.5 feet of frontage
rather than the required 330 feet. The parcel is located
in the expansion residential zone and the Planning
and Zoning Board did recommend approval because the
subdivsiion does meet with the intent and spirit of
the ordinance.
Mr. Marier moved to approve the request from Mrs. Kvitek
for a metes and bounds subdivision and variance and
waive the platting requirement due to the fact that
even though the property is lacking sufficient frontage
to satisfy the ordinance requirements, the adjacent
properties are lots of record and additional frontage
is unattainable and makes this a unique situation.
Mr. Kulaszewicz seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.
E. G.M. Development - Conditional Use Permit - Land Reclama-
tion and Grading (Set Public Hearing, September 23,
1985, 7:45 P.M.) - Mr. Reinert moved to set the public
hearing. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion
carried unanimously.
F. Update - Conditional Use Permits - Mr. Kluegel explained
the Council had reviewed all the Conditional Use Permits
earlier in the spring and the Council had asked him
to update them on eight permits that were questioned.
1. Harold Bisel - 6381 -20th Ave. - Small engine
repair and sales and service. Mr. Bisel is complying
with the conditions of the permit.
2. Theresa Krysinski - 7380 Lake Drive - Used car
sales lot - Trees have been planted along side
of the park as a buffer and Mr. Kluegel is monitor-
ing the growth of the trees.
1
1
1
