July 28, 1980 <br />QrdiTnance and a special use permit is not necessary. Mr. Jaworski moved to void this <br />special use permit. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Kluegel presented the quarterly report on the building permits in the City during <br />the last quarter. Mr. Klueger reported on the materials stored by Mr. Sulander and th <br />nothing has been removed since the last meeting. Mr. Sulander had requested an ad- <br />ditional 90 days for the removal of this material. <br />Mr. McLean asked if the City could remove this material and assess Mr. Sulander for <br />the costs and Mr. Locher said, not without a hearing: Mr. McLean moved to direct <br />Mr. Sulander to appear at the next Council meeting at which time his request for an <br />extension will be discussed and his requirements will be defined for him. Seconded <br />by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried unanimously. <br />A request from North Central Public Service for gas extension into Arena Acres. Mr. <br />Jaworski moved to approve this request. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Mr. Schumacher <br />said that he had discussed this with the Engineer that no lines be installed until <br />the street grades have been established. Mr. Jawroski amended his motion to include <br />this, Mrs. Elsenpeter accepted the amendment. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Gourley presented a letter prepared by Mrs. Elsenpeter requesting gas lines to <br />be extended into Pine Haven. Mrs. Elsenpeter has collected the money and she is re- <br />questing Council approval and action on this request. Mr. Jaworski moved to approve <br />this request and to forward the letter to North Central. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Schumacher presented the Planning and Zoning Report: <br />Item One, a special permit request from Mr. Spetzman for the construction of a shop <br />on his property. Mr. Schumacher reported his land had been rezoned for the specific <br />purpose of this shop. The Planning and Zoning Board had recommended approval of <br />this permit with the stipulations that this building inspector inspect the building, <br />the Fire Marshall inspect for fire hazard, that any outside storage be enclosed. <br />In the original request this was to have been constructed with cement block - Mr. <br />Spetzman now plans a wood constructed building. Mr. Jaworski questioned the lack of <br />water and sewer facilities - Mr. Spetzman said he is the only employee. Mayor Gourley <br />questioned the surfacing of the driveway. Mr. Spetzman indicated this will be a Class <br />5 type of surfacing. Mayor Gourley reminded Mr. Spetzman that the Ordinance requires <br />this surface to be dust free. There was discussion of this surfacing and it was sug- <br />gested that crushed rock be added. Mr. McLean moved to approve this special use per- <br />mit -with the stipulations that this structure be inspected by the Building Inspector <br />and Fire Marshall, no exterior storage, and a dust free surface on the driveway and <br />parking area. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Item Two - a variace request from Mr. Kroona for the moving in of a home of less than <br />the required square footage. Mr. Kluegel presented some pictures of the home and <br />reported on his inspection of the home. He had found no problems other than the size, <br />817 Square Feet 11 Story home. <br />Mayor Gourley and Mr. Bathke had also inspected this home. They had inspected the <br />area the home is proposed to be moved into. This area of homes are smaller than this <br />home and is of the same general construction type. The lot faces Sunrise just South <br />of Rustic Lane. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve this variance request from Mr. David <br />Kroona. This variance is just for the size requirement and this approval is granted <br />only on the basis that the home is compatible with the area to be moved into. Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz moved to approve this variance on that basis. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />
