?6 4 March 9, 1981 <br />J 'v <br />Mr. Locher reported that he had received a notice in today's mail <br />to appear in Judge Dablow's Court in Cambridge on Firday, March 13, <br />1981 for a hearing on a request to amend the findings or a motion <br />for a new trial. Mayor Gourley was given a copy of this notice. <br />OUTLOT A. <br />Mr. Locher read the amendments to this deed allowing Mr. Rehbein <br />to use this outlot as drainage /ponding area as deemed necessary and <br />reserves the right to construct and establish contours for a ponding <br />area thereon for a period of one year from this date, with the con- <br />struction to be completed within the one year in compliance with the <br />requirements of the Rice Creek Watershed Board. <br />The Council found no objections to this statement and Mr. Locher will <br />present to Mr. Glenn Rehbein for his signature. <br />DISCONNECTED SEWER HOOKUP - SHENANDOAH I. <br />The various aspects of this problem was discussed. Mr. Locher had <br />received a call from MWCC offering to reimburse the City of one -half <br />of this costs in the amount of $900.00 but in receiving that money, <br />the City would relieve the MWCC of any further responsibility for the <br />damages. Mr. Locher recommended that the City reject this offer. Mrs. <br />Elsenpeter moved to approve this recommendation. Seconded by Mr. <br />McLean. Motion carried unanimouslu. <br />Mayor Gourley moved to authorize the Attorney to continue to defend <br />the City on Lakes Add. #7. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />• <br />STREET NAME CHANGE IN ULMER'S RICE LAKE ADDITIONS. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter reported that she has checked this situation and would <br />recommend that the portion of Rice Lake Drive in Ulmer's First Addition <br />going East and West, and all of Rice Lake Drive in Ulmer's Third <br />Addition be changed to Ulmer Drive. <br />Mr. Locher was instructed to write an ordinance to this effect and <br />this matter is to be on the March 23, 1981 agenda. <br />PARK BOARD REPORT <br />Mr. Schumacher presented the actions of the Park Board from their last <br />regular meeting. There was discussion of tot lots. Last year the <br />Council ha sed a Resolution stating that in Country Lakes Park <br />the Board could spend $9000.00 for the development of portions of that <br />park. The Park Board felt this development could be done through <br />LAWCON Grants and they asked to use the allocated $9000.00 for develop- <br />ment of tot lots in Sunrise Park and City Hall Park. <br />Mayor Gourley reported that in the process of taking bids on the pro- <br />posed improvement, the bids came in much higher than had been planned. <br />Mr. Volk daid some of the basic work had been done by the Army Corps <br />of Engineers and he felt that they will come back and don more <br />work there but he has not called because the final plan for that <br />Park is not completed. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to authorize the Park to change the allocation <br />
