Mr. Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to instruct the Police Department to tag veh- <br />icles parked on Lois Lane in violation of Conditional Use Permit <br />#51. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Since there were no concerns with the balance of the Conditional <br />Use Permits, they will automatically renew until July, 1987. <br />ORDINANCE #07 -86. FIRST READING. MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN BUILDING <br />STANDARDS <br />Mr. Schumacher presented this Ordinance and explained that although <br />the Council had passed a motion declaring a moratorium, Mr. Haw- <br />kins has stated the Council will have to pass an Ordinance to make <br />the moratorium effective. He noted this Ordinance will not affect <br />items already being processed. <br />Mr. Glenn Rehbein told the Council that since Minnesota has only a <br />six month building season this Ordinance will cause a hardship. <br />He said the Council should try to help development. The Council <br />noted that the cooperation of developers has not been the best in <br />the past. <br />After further discussion regarding the length of the moratorium, Mr. <br />Marier moved to approve the first reading or Ordinance #07 -86 and <br />dispense with the reading.
