1 <br />1 <br />113 <br />COUNCIL MEETING MAY 11, 1987 <br />Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Mr. Reinert asked if this <br />appointment had to be a citizen at large. He was thinking that Mr. <br />Marier should be appointed because it was extremely important that <br />this appointee have close ties with this Council. After further <br />discussion, Mayor Benson called for the question, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Rice Lake Estates Area Assessments - Mr. Stahlberg noted that there <br />was an error in the filing of assessments on this project. The entire <br />assessment for Ulmer's Rice Lake Third Addition was filed on one lot. <br />The assessment should have been spread on all the lots. This requires <br />another public hearing. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to set the public hearing for June 8, 1987 at 7:30 P.M <br />and approve Resolution No. 23 - 87. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution No. 23 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON RE- ASSESSMENT OF ULMER'S RICE LAKE THIRD <br />ADDITION <br />WHEREAS, by resoluution passed by the Council on May 11, 1987, the <br />City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed re- assess- <br />ment of the cost of improving Ulmer's Third Addition, and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed re- <br />assessment has been completed and filed in her office for <br />public inspection, and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the re- assessment is to correct errors and <br />ommissions in the original Rice Lake Estates Area assess- <br />ments. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA; <br />1. A hearing shall be held on the 8th day of June, 1987 in the <br />City Hall at 7:30 P.M. to pass upon such proposed re- assess- <br />ment and at such time and place all persons owning property <br />affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity <br />to be heard with reference to such re- assessment. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the <br />hearing on the proposed re- assessment to be published twice <br />at least one week apart, in the official newspaper at least <br />
