Three other property owners have <br />expressed interest and will have to pay the entire cost as a hook up <br />charge at the time they decide to hook up to the utility. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution No. 28 -- 87 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT BY DAY LABOR FOR MUNICIPAL WATER AND <br />SANITARY SEWER FOR CERTAIN RESIDENTS ON ASH STREET (EXTENSION OF <br />SHOREVIEW UTILITIES) <br />WHEREAS, <br />on April 14, 1987 and April 21, 1987 an advertisement <br />for bids for the improvement as described in Resolut- <br />ion No. 16 - 87 was published in the Quad Press, the <br />official newspaper of the City of Lino Lakes pursuant <br />to Resolution No. 16 - 87 of the Council dated the <br />thirteenth day of April, 1987. <br />AND WHEREAS, the only bids received were the following: <br />Lessard -Nyren Utilities <br />C. W. Houle, Inc. <br />White Construction <br />0 & P Contracting <br />$147,970.50 <br />78,193.50 <br />85,700.00 <br />99,212.00 <br />and all such bids were higher than the City Engineer's <br />estimate of $47,615.00. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That all bids are rejected and the City Engineer shall proceed under <br />the direction of the Council, as given from time to time, to carry on <br />all work, plans and specifications approved by the Council on April <br />13, 1987. <br />Adopted by the Council this twenty second day of June, 1987. <br />PAGE 8 <br />
