Motion Url (_ ar "r1 P_d i_1n.•-17:.1 tnOu 1 y <br />CONSIDERATION OF APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS PLANNER /ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT F1'ITII WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP <br />Mr. Schumacher noted that this is the same agreement that the Council <br />saw at the last Council meeting, however langauge was added to insure <br />that White Bear Township will pay 50% of the Planners salary. Mr. <br />Reinert moved to approve the Joint Powers Agreement and hire Mr. John <br />Miller as joint planner. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION OF A REQUEST FROM CIRCLE PINES- -LEXINGTON LIONS CLUB FOR <br />BEER PERMIT FOR SANDBUR DAYS <br />Mrs. Anderson explained that the permit request is for two days at <br />Sunrise Park. Mr. Volk said that next year he would like the Park <br />Board to review this request. He indicated that the proceeds from <br />this event funds many improvements in Circle Pines. He would like <br />the Park Board to require that some improvements be made at Sunrise in <br />exchange for use of the park. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the request for a beer permit. Mr. <br />Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT - RON STAHLBERG <br />Resolution No. 33 -- 87, Approving Plans and Specifications for Trunk <br />Water Main and Ordering Advertisement for Bids - -. Mr. Reinert moved to <br />approve Resolution No. 33 - 87. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution No. 33 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR TRUNK WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on February <br />9, 1987, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifica- <br />tions for the proposed improvement of installation of trunk <br />water mains starting at the 900 block of Birch Street, west <br />to Hodgson Road (State Highway #49) , north to i he plat known <br />as Rice Lake Estates and has presented such plans and spec- <br />ifications to the Council for approval; <br />PAGE 14 <br />
