COITNCIL MEETING AUGUST 10, 1987 ■ NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES MINNESOTA: 1 1. Such plans aIld specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof, are hereby approved. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and the Construction Bulletin an advertise- ment for bids upon the making of such _improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The Advertisement shall be published for two days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 A.M. on September 11, 1987, at which time they will be publicly opened in the council chambers of the City Hall by the City Clerk and Engineer, will be tabulated and will be considered by the Council at 7:00 P.M. on September 14, 1987, in the council chambers. Any bidder whose' responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five (5) per cent of the amount of such hid. Benson, Mayor Resolution No. 34 - 87, Feasibility Study, Tax Increment Financing District. Mr. Stahlberg explained the route the proposed sewer and water extension would take down 2nd Avenue to Elni Street to 4th Avenue to 35W. The route is similar to the one proposed about a year and one half ago. He will use much of the information gathered from the previous study. The name for this improvement will be "West Central Trunk Sewer and Water District ". Mr. Schumacher told the Council that he had spoken to Mr. Schilling, owner of the industrial Park and Mr. Schilling indicated that he would not he selling any lots in the Industrial Park until sewer and water- is available.
