Motion 03r'riod unanimo.1sly. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution No. 34 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENTS TN THE TAX <br />INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT FROM 2ND AVENUE TO THE NORTHEAST QUADRANT <br />OF LAKE DRIVE NOW KNOWN AS THE WEST CENTRAL TRUNK SEWER AND WATER <br />DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to install municipal improvements from 2nd <br />Avenue to the Northeast Quadrant of Lake Drive and to assess <br />the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of <br />the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter <br />429, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer <br />for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with <br />all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as <br />to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether <br />it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some <br />other improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Council this 10 August, 1987. <br />Marilyn-,. Benson, Mayor <br />Resolution No. 35 -- 87, 1988 MSA Roads -- Mr. Schumacher- explained that <br />since the West Central Trunk Sewer and Water District improvement is <br />proposing that utilities be extended down 2nd Avenue, it is suggested <br />that 2nd Avenue be completed to Elm Street as a state road. Mayor <br />Benson asked Mr. Stahlberg why he is not proposing that the trunk <br />utilities not he extended up Lake Drive. Mr. Stahlberg explained that <br />the possibility of radiating out from the trunk lines is greater going <br />from 2nd Avenue. <br />PAGE 16 <br />
