COUNCIL MEETING <br />September 8, 1986 <br />Page Three <br />I WHEREAS: These facilities are part of a regional system and <br />draw on the Minneapolis /St. Paul Region for users <br />and <br />WHEREAS: During the planning stages of this facility, Anoka <br />County had foreseen the need for an interchange at <br />CSAH 14 and 35W to enable users from the metropolitan <br />area easy access to said facility. <br />Now therefore be it resolved that the Lino Lakes City Council requests <br />Anoka County to take the appropriate action to coordinate the upgrad- <br />ing of CSAH 14 to include an interchange at the afore mentioned in- <br />tersection, thereby providing access to the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes <br />Regional Park. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this 8th day of September, <br />1986. <br />ATTEST: <br />Marilyn G. Benson, Mayor <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 135 -86, AMENDING THE PLANNING <br />CONSULTANT BUDGET <br />Mr. Marier moved to adopt Resolution #35 -86. Mr. Bisel seconded the <br />motion. Mrs. Anderson read the resolution. There was discussion re- <br />garding placing a cap on planning expenditures with the Council noting <br />there had been at least two meetings with the planner, task force and <br />Planning and Zoning Board to be sure they were all aware of the fin- <br />ancial limitations. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />1 <br />
