COUNCIL MEETING 01 9 <br />September 22, 1986 <br />Page Three <br />Mr. Hoeft explained that RCWD has required that Molin Concrete in- <br />stall a dike so that there is no water flowing off of their property. <br />e said it would be difficult to show that this project would bene- <br />fit Molin Concrete. <br />r. Goldade questioned the method the properties were appraised for <br />easement acquisition. Mr. Hawkins said Mr. Goldade could address <br />this issue at the court proceedings. <br />Mr. Goldade asked if the City will acquire properties along 4th Avenue <br />if the property goes tax forfeit. Mayor Benson said he was not aware <br />of any tax delinquent properties but this will be checked further. <br />Mr. Goldade said the appraiser has never been to his property although <br />his wife was waiting at the appointed time. Mr. Hawkins said he would <br />arrange to have the appraiser come to his residence. <br />Shirley Wise - Mrs. Wise asked if there will be excavating near Williams <br />Pipeline. Mr. Stahlberg said Williams Pipeline Company will be notified <br />by the contractor when construction begins. <br />Mr. Marier moved to close the public hearing at 7:50 P.M. Mr. Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Benson told the audience the public hearing for assessments will <br />be held when costs are known. <br />1 SSESSMENT HEARING - SUNSET ROAD,BLAINE - RESOLUTION #40 - 86 <br />Mr. Stahlberg explained the background on this improvement project. <br />There will be a joint powers agreement between Lino Lakes and the <br />City of Blaine. <br />The improvement- consists of street,- curb, - gutter and driveway -. aprons__ <br />that will be installed by the County. The proposed assessment _for =this <br />part of the improvement will be approximately $1,030.00 for each -of <br />the thirty four lots. The City of Blaine wll be installing sanitary <br />sewer and municipal water to each of the thirty four lots at a cost <br />of approximately $4,225.00 per lot. Of the •six lots on the north, <br />the south three will receive sewer service only and the north lots <br />will receive no services. The assessment: for the south three lots <br />have not been determined. <br />Vernon Swanson - Mr. Swanson asked if the actual cost was known. <br />He had heard several different figures. Mr. Stahlberg said the ass - <br />ment will be very close to $4,300.00. <br />Question from the audience; when will construction start? Mr..
