COUNCIL MINUTES <br />(i) All buildings erected on lands within the <br />Commercial and Industrial Zoning Districts <br />shall be of steel, reinforced concrete, Type <br />III construction, masonary construction or an <br />equivalent or better. No building shall have <br />pole barn type construction or exterior wall <br />surface of sheet. metal. Exterior wall surfaces <br />of all buildings shall be face brick, decorative <br />block stone, architectgural concrete cast in <br />place or pre -cast panel or an equivalent or <br />better. (A back wall may be ordinary common <br />block.) <br />(ii) All rooftop or ground mounted mechanical equip- <br />ment and exterior trash storage areas shall be <br />enclosed with material compatible with the <br />principal structure. <br />(iii) All accessory buildings except those not <br />visible from any exterior property line shall <br />have exterior wall surfaces of the same mat- <br />erial as the principle structure. <br />(iv) Underground utilities shall be provided for <br />all new structures. <br />II. <br />Save as above amended, said Ordinance No. 2 shall stand as initially <br />passed and as previously amended. <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br />passage and publication according to City Charter. <br />Passed by the City Council this 23rd day of February <br />Marilyn <br />(G <br />, 1986. <br />t <br />njamin G Benson, Mayor <br />Anderson, Clerk- Treasurer <br />Ordinance No. 17 - 86, Central Business District, First Reading - Mr. <br />Kluegel explained the background of the proposed ordinance and noted <br />that the revised draft had been unanimously approved by the Planning <br />1 <br />
