1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 11, 1988 <br />deteriorated and now they face replacement of the street and <br />reassessment before the past assessment is paid. <br />Further discussion regarded how the Charter requires a <br />referendum if any such expenditure is to come from the <br />General Fund. Mr. Bisel also noted that this is a working <br />policy and can be amended by the Council whenever the <br />Council feels it is necessary. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to adopt Resolution No. 02 - 88 with changes <br />as stated to the Financing and Assessment Policy. Mr. <br />Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02 - 88 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE LINO LAKES PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT POLICY <br />DATED JANUARY 11, 1988. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has prepared a Comprehen- <br />sive Land Use Plan and a development plan for <br />sewer, water and street system, and <br />WHEREAS, the trunk facilities of the sewer and water system <br />will benefit all present and future users of the <br />system, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered methods of financ- <br />ing permanent improvement, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the Public Improvements Financing Policy dated <br />January 11, 1988 be hereby adopted by the Lino Lakes <br />City Council. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this llth day of <br />January, 1988. <br />Maril3Fn <br />PAGE 11 <br />Anderson, Clerk- Treasurer <br />145 <br />
