Lino Lakes. The survey will give residents a chance to <br />voice their opinion of the City on an array of issues. <br />These are just examples of how we truely are servants of <br />you, the people. <br />In addition to the Park Survey, the Park Board has a number <br />of programs that they are working on for 1988. For <br />starters, they will be working on getting the "Tree City <br />USA" program designation for the City. This is handed out <br />by the DNR in an effort to alert residents of forestry <br />activities and education. <br />A joint study with Circle Pines, Blaine, Centerville, and <br />Lexington will be carried out to determine the need for a <br />Recreation and Community Education Director, and expanded <br />programs. <br />Finally, the Park Board will be adding to two parks areas <br />out of two new subdivisions; Erickson's Second Addition, and <br />South Reshanau Lake Estates. <br />The Police Department was again active this year in <br />promoting such programs as Operation Identification, and <br />"Crime Prevention ". The later program was expanded to <br />include 280 additional participants in the neighborhood <br />watch program. <br />The department has worked vigorously over the past year in <br />the area of child welfare and protection. These include the <br />fingerprinting of over 350 children as well as photographing <br />
