247 <br />COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 14, 1988 <br />the Comprehensive Plan Amendment was prepared. This <br />resolution will correct the error. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve Resolution No. 14 - 88. Mr. <br />Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14 - 88 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A MINOR PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE LINO LAKES <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City of Lino Lakes updated its Comprehensive <br />Plan in 1987; <br />the MUSA boundary shown on the map submitted to <br />the Metropolitan Council inavertently omitted a <br />sewered area adjacent to the Anoka County Regional <br />Park and the City of Centerville; <br />WHEREAS, the omitted area contains twenty two (22) sewered <br />lots and an unplatted area of approximately seven- <br />teen (17) lots; <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the omitted area was in the MUSA boundary prior to <br />the 1987 revisions; <br />it was not the intent of the City of Lino Lakes to <br />eliminate a sewered area from the MUSA boundary; <br />the land use map of the revised comprehensive are <br />designates this parcel of land as urban resident- <br />ial; <br />AND WHEREAS, urban residential zoning requires that the <br />area be included in the year 2000 Urban Service <br />District; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT: <br />1. The Lino Lakes City Council hereby adopts a minor plan <br />amendment to revise the Comprehensive Plan to add the <br />omitted area to the MUSA boundary. <br />2. The City Administrator is hereby directed to submit the <br />minor plan amendment to the Metropolitan Council for <br />approval. <br />PAGE 14 <br />
