24C <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 14, 1988 <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this <br />fourteenth day of March, 1988. <br />enj am <br />1 <br />yn nderson, Clerk - Treasurer <br />enso , Mayor <br />Resolution No. 17 - 88 Ordering Preparation of Feasibility <br />Report on the Improvement of an Area Between Ware Road and <br />Hodgson Road - Mr. Stahlberg outlined the area to be studied <br />and noted that he has had several landowners in the area ask <br />him for this information. He also noted that the Planner <br />has laid out a preliminary street plan for this area. A new <br />agreement will probably be needed with Shoreview since this <br />area will tie into the Shoreview facilities. Mr. Reinert <br />noted that there is a lot of marginal land in this area. <br />Mr. Stahlberg said it may be better than originally thought. <br />Mr. Bisel asked that the area affected be detailed better in <br />the Resolution. Mr. Stahlberg said he would give the Clerk <br />a detailed description. <br />Mr. Schumacher noted that the City is currently planning for <br />facilites for an area to the north and east. He said he <br />hated to loose potential users to Shoreview. <br />Mr. Schumacher asked if Mr. Gordon Girtz owner of some of <br />the described property is going to bear the cost of the <br />feasibility study. Mr. Stahlberg said yes. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to adopt Resolution No. 17 - 88 with the <br />amendment regarding the description of the affected area <br />being defined as all area to 1500 feet north of Ash Street, <br />between Hodgson Road and Ware Road and contigent upon the <br />City Engineer notifying Mr. Girtz and getting a written <br />statement saying he understands he is responsible for the <br />cost of the feasibility.
