1 <br />007 <br />COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 13, 1989 <br />Metro Council would prefer to have all amendments forwarded <br />to them as one time. He noted that although the Council may <br />want to delay submission of the Comprehensive Sewer Plan <br />Update, he suggested that he pursue the Laurene Avenue lift <br />station update with_,MWCC now. Mayor Benson explained that <br />MUSA boundaries maybe changed and asked if this would affect <br />the Comprehensive Sewer Plan Amendment submission to MWCC. <br />Mr. Stahlberg said that the Comprehensive Sewer Plan update <br />should go to MWCC before the MUSA changes are completed. <br />Mr. Schumacher expressed concerns that delaying the <br />submission of the Sewer Plan update to MWCC could delay some <br />improvements already planned. Mr. Stahlberg said he would <br />visit with MWCC, explain the current situation to them and <br />ask how they feel the matter should be handled. <br />Mayor Benson said that Mary Hauser, the Lino Lakes <br />representative to MWCC should be updated on the situation in <br />Lino Lakes. <br />Mr. Bisel expressed concern regarding the lack of a well <br />monitoring system in Lino Lakes. Mr. Schumacher explained <br />citizens can obtain a water sample bag and submit it to the <br />County for analysis. The cost is $10.00. It was explained <br />the County only tests bacteria levels. Mr. Bisel suggested <br />setting up well testing areas where problems are known to <br />exist. He felt the City could pay for the more comprehensive <br />well tests in these areas. <br />The Council asked Mr. Stahlberg to visit with MWCC regarding <br />the Comprehensive Sewer Plan update and bring his findings to <br />the next Council meeting. <br />Resolution No. 13 - 89, Ordering Sunrise Meadows Improvement <br />- Mr. Bisel moved to approve Resolution No. 13 - 89 and to <br />make sure the developers agreement is properly completed and <br />signed, the letter of credit is received and a final title <br />insurance policy is received prior to signing the plat. Mr. <br />Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 13 - 89 can be found at the end of these <br />minutes. <br />PLANNER'S REPORT - JOHN MILLER <br />Landscape Plan for Reshanau Lake Estates South, Phase III - <br />Mr. Miller explained that at the time of the final plat <br />hearing for this subdivision residents of Colonial Woods were <br />concerned about screening their neighborhood. A plan has <br />been developed and Mr. Uhde and the homeowners have worked <br />out all concerns. The final plan was submitted to the <br />homeowners and they were notified of this meeting tonight. <br />A gentleman from Colonial Woods asked that a date be set for <br />
