08 <br />COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 13, 1989 <br />the installation of the plantings. Mr. Miller explained that <br />a date was not established but it would have to be after the <br />final grading. Mr. Stahlberg said the developer could be <br />told that hs final grading plan would not be approved until <br />after all plantings_,are installed. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the landscaping plan for Reshanau <br />Lake Estates South, Phase III as presented by the City <br />Planner with the addition that it be incorporated with the <br />final grading plan. Mr. Neal seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Consideration of Adjustment to MUSA Boundary - Mr. Miller <br />explained that at the February 27, 1989 Council meeting, he <br />had presented information about a request to change some MUSA <br />boundaries and the need to visit with people within the <br />present MUSA boundary to request that they either petition <br />for sewer or be moved out of the MUSA boundary. He noted the <br />low inventory of sewer serviced lots and asked for direction <br />regarding holding neighborhood meetings to discuss options <br />with landowners. The Council has requested more information <br />and he has visited with the EDC and the Planning and Zoning <br />Board about this matter. There appears to be people in the <br />MUSA boundary who would be happier outside of the boundary <br />and there are several landowners outside of the MUSA boundary <br />requesting sewer service. He requested Council permission to <br />hold informal neighborhood meetings to determine what the <br />residents are thinking. <br />Mr. Bisel noted informal neighborhood meetings do serve a <br />purpose and moved to direct the City Engineer and City <br />Planner to meed with the people to discuss MUSA boundaries. <br />Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Final Plat Approval Extension, Lakes Addition No. 9 - Mr. <br />Miller explained that a developer must submit a final plat to <br />the City within 90 days of the preliminary plat approval or <br />start the process over from the beginning. El Rehbein and <br />Son have submitted a letter requesting a 45 day extension of <br />this period. Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve the 45 day <br />extension. Mr. Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Final Plat Approval Extension, Woodridge Estates I - Mr. <br />Miller explained that Mr. Carlson has presented a written <br />request for a 90 day extension of the final plat to allow the <br />preliminary plat of Woodridge Estates II to catch up with the <br />first submittal.
