1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 10, 1989 <br />Resolution No. 21 - 89 can be found at the end of these <br />minutes. <br />Resolution No. 22 - 89 Approving Plans and Specifications and <br />Ordering Advertisement for Bids Reshanau Lake Estates South, <br />Third Addition, 2B - Mr. Stahlberg explained that these plans <br />include cleaning the ditch from Birch Street north to <br />Reshanau Lake across the Miller property. Mr. Bisel moved to <br />approve Resolution No. 22 - 89. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 22 - 89 can be found at the end of these <br />minutes. <br />Update on Comprehensive Sewer Plan Amendment and Visit with <br />MWCC Regarding Amendment - Mr. Stahlberg explained that he <br />had visited with MWCC and informed them that the City is <br />attempting to revise the MUSA boundaries. MWCC seemed <br />receptive to this action. They have asked for an update of <br />wastewat=er flow and also asked for the number of residential <br />equivalent connections. Mr. Stahlberg noted that the updated <br />amendment indicates the need for the updated interceptor at <br />Laurene Avenue. This City must let MWCC know when this is <br />needed. <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that he has received a letter from <br />MWCC stating that they have given the City a few months to <br />update their plans. He noted that it would be ideal to have <br />all our plans updated and submitted to MWCC prior to MWCC <br />updating their plans. Mayor Benson asked how long does it <br />take MWCC to approve our plans? It was noted that in the <br />past it has taken three to four years however Mr. Stahlberg <br />felt it would not be as long this time. Mr. Stahlberg said <br />he could tell MWCC that the gravity flow sewer trunk line <br />must be in by 1990. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to complete our Plan Amendment and submit it <br />to the Metro Council as soon as possible. Mr. Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Mr. Stahlberg asked if the motion <br />included requesting the gravity trunk sewer in 1990. He was <br />told yes. Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />Request from Jeff Joyer for Review of the Previous Action on <br />Grading Plan for Twilight Acres III - Mr. Joyer has asked <br />that the Council reconsider their original decision made <br />November 9, 1987 to deny the grading plan which included on <br />site borrow pits. <br />Mr. Bisel said that the Council action has not prevented the <br />ability to build on the lots. He did not feel that soil <br />should be removed from the back of the lots causing a <br />hardship for future buyers. <br />Mr. -Bisel —moved to deny the request. Mr. Reinert seconded <br />
