Mr. Uhde said this may also go the way of the <br />monuments. <br />Ray Finlaxson, 6821 Black Duck Circle referred to the <br />easement for the possible extension of the street to West <br />Shadow Lake Drive and asked if this is necessary. He felt it <br />would conflict with the plans for the City trail system. Mr. <br />Volk explained that the area is now cabled. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to close the public hearing at 8:50 P.M. <br />Mr. Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen asked Mr. Uhde if it would cause a problem to <br />delay a decision on the preliminary plat for 30 days. Mr. <br />Uhde explained what would happen if it were delayed tonight. <br />Mayor Benson moved to approve the preliminary plat of <br />Reshanau Park Estates based on the recommendations of the <br />Engineer and Planner, that there be no entrance markers, that <br />the proposed plan for Outlot A be put in rough draft, and <br />that the association bylaws be put together for the final <br />plat. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT (MUSA <br />BOUNDARY CHANGE) <br />Mayor Benson opened the public hearing at 8:56. P.M. Mr. <br />Miller explained what the MUSA boundary is and noted that it <br />is the only area where the City can extended municipal sewer <br />services. <br />PROPOSED CHANGES <br />The Colonial Woods subdivision is currently in the MUSA <br />boundary. The landowners are not interested in connecting to <br />the current facilities and have requested to be removed from <br />the MUSA area. <br />Originally Mr. Harold Lehman, 509 Birch Street had originally <br />wanted to be out of the MUSA boundary. Now he would like to <br />stay in it. However, there are other landowners who are more <br />interested in being in the boundary and Mr. Miller <br />recommended that Mr. Lehman be removed from the MUSA <br />boundary. <br />Mr. Ed Vaughan has presented a concept plan for property he <br />owns north of Birch Street in the 1200 block. However, his <br />property is not in the MUSA boundary. Mr. Miller recommended <br />that this property be included in the MUSA boundary. <br />Mr.. Miller referred to the southeast portion of the City and <br />noted that a number of landowners east of 35E have formed a <br />group to determine if it is feasible to extend sewer and <br />
