AUGUST 27, 1990 <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 67 - 90 AMENDING <br />THE 1990 BUDGET <br />Ms. Romocky explained that several adjustments are needed for <br />the 1990 Budget. The adjustments are outlined in the <br />resolution. Council Member Bohjanen moved to adopt <br />Resolution No. 67 - 90 as outlined in Option No. 1. Council <br />Member Reinert seconded the motion. On a roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 67 - 90 can be found at the end of these <br />minutes. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 68 - 90 <br />TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM WEST CENTRAL TRUNK CONSTRUCTION FUND <br />TO DEDICATED PARKS FUND FOR TREE RESTITUTION AND LANDSCAPING <br />SUNRISE PARK <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that some areas in Sunrise Park were <br />disturbed during the West Central Trunk construction. These <br />areas need to be restored. Funds were set aside in the West <br />Central Trunk Construction Fund for the restoration. He <br />recommended that the Council adopt Resolution No. 68 - 90 <br />transferring funds for this work. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to adopt Resolution No. 68 - 90. <br />Council Member Bohjanen seconded the motion. On a roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 68 - 90 can be found at the end of these <br />minutes. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 66 - 90 <br />CERTIFYING THE 1990 PRELIMINARY LEVY PAYABLE 1991 AND SET <br />PUBLIC HEARING DATES <br />This matter was discussed in detail at the August 20, 1990 <br />Work Session. Mr. Schumacher noted that pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes, the City is required to certify its <br />proposed levy to Anoka County by September 1, 1990. This <br />includes the general levy and all special levies. The amount <br />the City certifies as its preliminary levy is in effect a <br />maximum amount. The final City levy certified in December <br />may be lower than the preliminary levy but cannot exceed the <br />preliminary levy certification. <br />-c31 Member Bohjanen moved to adopt Resolution No. 66 - 90 <br />adoptihy preliminary levy of S1 , o ; 7 2 _..:;0.
