1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MINUTES- AUGUST 27, 1990 <br />Council Members agreed informally that rezoning to R -5 would <br />allow the developer to build on smaller lots but through the <br />PUD agreement to build R -1X houses. <br />The DRB has reviewed the rezone application and has <br />recommended Council approval. <br />There was no one in the audience to speak for or against the <br />proposed rezoning. <br />Council Member Reinert asked Mr. Carlson, developer of <br />PineRidge if he was satisfied with the direction the City had <br />given him. Mr. Carlson said yes. He noted that time was now <br />a concern to him. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to close the public hearing at <br />9:35 P.M. Council Member Kuether seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Council Member Kuether moved to approve the first reading of <br />Ordinance No. 08 - 90 and waive the reading thereof. Council <br />Member Bohjanen seconded the motion. On a roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 08 - 90 can be found at the end of these <br />minutes. <br />Mr. Miller noted that a Preliminary Development Plan fc- <br />PineRidge is a requirement for a PUD zoning. The PreL.tinary <br />Development Plan includes a preliminary plat, landscap: g <br />plan, a requirement that all single - family homes meet °1X <br />standards and provisions for a temporary park with a 3.' acre <br />park land dedication. The Preliminary Development Pla <br />submitted by the developer meets all of these requiren-, ts. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to approve the Prelimina <br />Development Plan for PineRidge as outlined in DRB apps. ation <br />90 -46. Council Member Kuether seconded the motion. C <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, IMPROVEMENTS, PINERIDGE ESTATES <br />Mr. Boxrud explained that the feasibility report for t <br />subdivision was completed in May, 1990. He noted that ince <br />this report was completed, Staff started designing the <br />Chomonix Trunk Sewer which could greatly impact this y used <br />subdivision. Mr. Boxrud used the overhead projector z low <br />possible routes of the Chomonix Trunk Sewer through t <br />project. He noted that the trunk could benefit the d oiler <br />and provide additional assessment to pay for the truni ich <br />will eventually tie into the Laurene lift station.
