67 <br />COUNCIL MEETING DECEMBER 20. 1990 <br />Ordinance No. 19 - 90 rezoning the property for Centennial School <br />District No. 12. Council Member Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />On a roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 19 - 90 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, BOE ORNAMENTAL <br />Mr. Miller explained that the owner of Boe Ornamental wishes to <br />construct an addition to his building at 484 Lilac Street. City <br />Code requires that a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) be granted for <br />this request since the existing building is used for industrial <br />purposes. In addition, a site and building plan is also <br />required. <br />Mayor Bisel opened the public hearing at 7:37 P.M. There was no <br />one in the audience to speak for or against the improvement. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to close the public hearing at 7:38 <br />P.M. Council Member Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to approve DRB Application No. 90 -56 <br />granting a CUP to Boe Ornamental subject to the conditions as <br />outlined in the Planner's "Green Sheet ". Council Member Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. On a roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved approval of the site and building <br />plan as outlined in DRB Application No. 90 -57. Council Member <br />Neal seconded the motion. On a roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, PRELIMINARY PLAT, WENZEL FARMS <br />Mr. Miller explained that the developer of Wenzel Farms has not <br />completed the preliminary plat but expects to have it completed <br />and to the city hall by December 27, 1990. The preliminary plat <br />will be reviewed by the DRB on January 9, 1991. Mr. Miller asked <br />that this public hearing be continued until January 14, 1991. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to continue this public hearing <br />until 8:00 P.M., January 14, 1991. Council Member Neal seconded <br />the motion. <br />Council Member Reinert asked who is the applicant for the <br />preliminary plat and who is the owner of the property? Council <br />Member Kuether said Hokanson Plumbing is the applicant and the <br />Wenzel Estate is the owner. Mr. Hawkins explained that the owner <br />of the property must sign the application for the preliminary <br />plat. <br />PAGE 6 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
