I OD <br />COUNCIL MEETING DECEMBER 12, 1988 <br />condition of the plat. He noted that utilities could be <br />brought in through a utility easement. <br />Dianne Erickson, 6450 Baldwin Lake Road said that she and <br />her husband prefer the road going north to go on the east <br />edge of their property so that they can have the option of <br />developing some time in the future. <br />Dennis Hatton asked if there would be stop signs on Linda <br />once it is extended to Woodridge Estates. He said he did <br />not want Linda to become a freeway. Mr. Stahlberg explained <br />the procedure to establish speed limits and noted that the <br />City is interested in the safety aspect. <br />Jan Darrow, 175 Ash Street asked what is happening on the <br />southern border of Woodridge Estates. Mr. Stahlberg <br />explained that this is wetlands and they will remain this <br />way. <br />Tom Oostdik, 185 Ash Street said the wetlands border his <br />property and asked if it will ever be developed. Mr. <br />Stahlberg said parts of it could be developed. <br />Ms. Darrow asked where the future road was coming from <br />Woodridge Estates. Mr. Stahlberg pointed the area out on <br />the map. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to close the public hearing at 10:10 P.M. <br />Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Bisel asked Mr. Stahlberg for his recommendation <br />regarding the placement of sewer and water lines from the <br />north of Woodridge Estates. Mr. Stahlberg explained that he <br />preferred that the utilities follow the road whenever <br />possible. <br />Mr. Stahlberg noted receipt of a letter from Mr. William A. <br />Sironen, Assistant County Engineering requesting that an <br />additional twenty seven (27) feet over what is currently <br />dedicated for right -of -way along Ash Street (CSAH 32). Also <br />requested was the right of access to Ash Sstreet from Lot <br />10, Block 3. This would require that driveways from that <br />lot to access only the City street unless an agreement is <br />reached with the County Highway Department for another <br />access. <br />PAGE 13 <br />
