1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING DECEMBER 12, 1988 <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the preliminary plat of Woodridge <br />Estates as indicated from the P & Z Board with the following <br />exceptions: That the road be extended to the north to Town <br />Road and that sewer and water utilities follow the same <br />pattern if possible into Woodridge Estates and that the park <br />fees and /or park plan be satisfactorily worked out with the <br />Park Board and the City Planner with the developer donating <br />park land or money or both. Also the issues outlined in the <br />City Planner's memorandum dated December 7, 1988 be <br />satisfied, the drainage ditch near the south end of the <br />subdivision be realigned to follow the property line of the <br />McDougal property and that the street going to the north <br />from the subdivision not be developed until 75% of the home <br />in Woodridge Estates are completed. Mr. Neal seconded the <br />motion. <br />Mr. Kohl asked if moving the drainage ditch would still keep <br />it within the Woodridge Estates property because he does not <br />want it on his property. It will stay on the Woodridge <br />Estates property. <br />Mr. Koch, 6307 Baldwin Lake Road asked about the name of the <br />street now shown as Town Road. Mr. Stahlberg explained that <br />the name will be addressed at a later date. <br />Mr. Bisel asked for a poll of the Council when voting on the <br />motion. The vote is as follows: Mr. Reinert, Aye; Mr. <br />Bohjanen, Aye; Mr. Neal, Aye; Mr. Bisel, Aye and Mayor <br />Benson vote, Aye. Motion carried unanimously. <br />A gentleman from the audience asked if this subdivision <br />would do anything to his tax base. Mayor Benson explained <br />that the Council has tried to do a lot of things to lower <br />the tax base of most residents in Lino Lakes. This should <br />not affect the tax base. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT - RON STAHLBERG <br />Proposed Location of Trunk Sewer and Water Lines - Mr. <br />Stahlberg explained to the Council his proposal for a small <br />change in the route of the trunk water and sewer in the 2nd <br />Avenue area. He noted that this will shorten the route and <br />reduce the costs.
