Motion carried
unanimously.
Mr. Reinert moved to approve the preliminary plat of Lakes
Addition No. 9 incorporating the recommendation from the
City Planner that Outlot A be incorporated into Lots 8
through 11, Block 3. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion.
Mayor Benson asked about the walkway that leads to the
commercial lot on the south edge of the plat. Mr. Blackbird
said this is a utility easement. Mayor Benson said that the
City would be looking for a buffer at the time the
commercial lot is developed.
Outlot B was discussed. Mr. Blackbird said this is a common
lot that will be owned by all forty -two lot owners. There
will not be an association for the care of this lot. Mr.
Hawkins said this is not a good way to handle this lot and
suggested that a homeowners' association similar to the one
in the Reshanau Lake subdivision be established.
Mr. Reinert withdrew his motion and Mr. Bisel withdrew his
second.
Mr. Reinert moved to approve the preliminary plat of Lakes
Addition No. 9.with the provisions of the original motion
dealing with Outlot A, and to work with the City Planner to
get the alignment of these lots in place and establish a
document for Outlot B providing for a homeowners'
association and get this document to the City Attorney for
his review. Mr. Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.
PUBLIC HEARING, WOODRIDGE ESTATES
Mayor Benson opened the public hearing at 8:45 P.M. Mr.
Stahlberg presented the plat to the Council on tag board
with overlays of possible street extensions to serve
neighboring areas.
