She also noted that the <br />residents pay taxes and if they did not care they would not <br />be here tonight. <br />Mr. Tritten, 6221 Laurene Avenue explained that he had a son <br />and daughter who both lived in the Court. He felt the Court <br />has a good plan and felt that Mr. Howard should be allowed to <br />meet with his neighbors and make provisions for screening. <br />Reed Rehbein, 6152 Hodgson Road asked what people think of <br />Rehbein Transit? Some people think that buses look worse <br />than the Court. <br />Rosemary Storberg explained that she had read that the <br />Centennial School District has more trailer courts in its <br />boundary than any other school district. <br />Sandy McCully, Baldwin Lake Court explained that she has <br />lived in the Court since 1963 and is proud to live there. <br />Peg Dotty,'Baldwin Lake Court said she has lived in the Court <br />twenty five years. She explained that she raised two kids in <br />the Centennial School District. She explained that the <br />residents work but the lower cost of housing has allowed her <br />to stay home with her children. <br />John Grundhofer, 235 Linda Avenue felt the expansion would <br />affect him because there will be no deadend street and <br />traffic will increase on his street. He noted that people <br />throw stuff out of car windows and he is always picking up <br />debris. He also said that Mr. Howard had sent him a <br />brochure about the expansion and this was the first notice <br />that he had. He noted that the quality of people is good and <br />bad where ever you go. He was concerned that Mr. Howard <br />spent a lot of money for the land and could not spend the <br />money for a plan. Mr. Grundhofer also noted that although <br />Mr. Howard is a good manager, he will not be there forever. <br />Mr. Bisel explained that he has called most of the residents <br />on Laurene Avenue, Linda and Rohavic Lane as well as the east <br />side of Hodgson Road. He noted that 72% of the residents are <br />against the rezone, 12% support the rezone and 16% had no <br />opinion. There was concerned expressed about Laurene Avenue <br />going all the way through into the park. Those with this <br />concern said if they could be assured that this would not <br />occur, they would support the rezone. Some residents said <br />that they bought their property knowing what is currently <br />there and felt that allowing an expansion would not be in <br />keeping with the zoning ordinance. <br />Mr. Bisel told the Council that there are five trailer parks <br />within the Centennial School District and this did not <br />include the manufactured housing district in Centerville.
