1 1 1 July 22, 1974 building and plumbing permits may be retained by the local governments. Received a letter from the Anoka Health Department informing the City that all events held in City Parks that have food and /or beverage stands, must have a license from that department. A request from Mr. Frank Resch for the use of the Hall for a meeting of the Lino Lakes Athletic Asso. This meeting to be held on July 31, 1974 at 8:30 p.m. Mr. Marier moved to approve this request. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. Receipt of $150.75 in municipal fines. First quarter Federal Revenue Sharing Check in the amount of $7,191.00, Receipt of State Aid in the amount of $16,952.75 and Attached machinery aid for $953.60. Total check - $17,906.35. A report from the Fire Marshall - all Councilmen have copies. A dividend statement from Great Central Insurance Co. in the amount of $355.00. A letter from the State of Minnesota announcing hearings to be held on levy limitations. There will be more information on this at a later date. A form from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to be filled out. The Clerk is to take care of this. A six month report from the Building Inspector. All Councilmen have cooties. Receipt of a billing from NSSSB for 1974 dues in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Marier moved to pay these dues. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. A request from Rev. John Wirth of St. Joseph's Church for 1) a>,beer permit and 2) a bingo permit for Sunday, August 11, 1974. Mr. Marier moved to approve both requests. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. Read a letter of "Thanks" from Mr. Carlo Sooger, Director of Special Services at Centennial Schools, Dist. 12 for the contribution of $1,000.00 to that program. Receipt of copies of a memorandum of Minnesota Session Laws, Chapter 479. The Clerk was asked to make copies for all Councilmen. The agreement with U.S. Lakes and the City of Lino Lakes for the maintenance of West Shadow Lake Drive was discussed. The sentance "This contract shall be for the calendar year of 1974 only" is to be added. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve this agreement. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. The bids for the truck were opened at this time. Both bids had been received before 8:00 p.m. on this date and none had arrived since. Mayor Bohjanen opened the bids and turned them over to Mr. Jaworski - he will compare the bids with the original specifications. Mr. Jaworski reported that work on the roads should begin sometime this week and should be completed in about six weeks.
