1
1
APRIL 28, 1975
to work with. He felt this could best be done at budget time in order to
establish a small cushion to fall back on in the first part of the year
before tax levies are received.
Mayor Bohjanen asked if there were any more questions, there were none.
Mayor Bohjanen thanked Mr. Hill for his time.
Mr. Marier reported on the Planning and Zoning Board meeting held on
Wednesday, April 16, 1975. Mrs. Eggenberger and Mrs. Johnson had applied
for a Special Use Permit for the property at 874 Main Street. They plan
to operate a small boutique shop called the Cross Patch Boutique.
The hours will be 9:00 A,M. to 5:00 P.M. This will be for a one year
period to be reviewed at the end of that time. Mr. Marier said that
signs and the requirements had been discussed with the owners and they '
understood the regulations. The Planning and Zoning Board had recommended
approval of this special use permit and Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded
by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried.
Mr. Jandric had appeared at the Planning and Zoning Board Meeting with
a request to put the townhouse unit on a lot in order for Mr. Jandric
to sell the building. There was some questions that the Board felt must
be answered before granting this request. They asked that Mr. Jandric sub-
mit his plans to the Engineer and the Planner for their recommendations.
He agreed and will return.
Mr. Jaworski asked if this property was not originally to be rented. Mr.
Marier said that was the original plan but now Mr. Jandric wants to sell
the buildings.
Mr. Glanzer, part owner of the property located at 1403 Birch Street, had
appeared seeking a permit to park a house trailer at that location while
in the process of restoring the barn and possibly erecting a house. There
are plans to establish a bird refuge there and to plant grains for feed.
After much discussion the P $ Z Board recommended that a 90 day permit
for parking the trailer be granted. This trailer must be removed by July
1, 1975, if not, a fee of $100.00 per day for each day beyond that date.
Seconded by Mr.Jaworski. Motinn carried.
Mr. Larry Winter was present for information as to parking a mobile home
on property he plans to purchase and living in the mobile home for one
year while building a new home. the PE Z told Mr. Winter that this
request would not be considered.
Mr. Francis Burque was present reauesting information regarding the regulations
on removal of topsoil. Mr. Marier thought there was an amendment to Ordinance
6 but could not find it in the Ordinance Index. He asked if there was not
a Resolution passed governing this subject. Mr. Locher looked in his book
and found the date of the passage, of the Resolution, August 28, 1972. The
Clerk is to make copies of this and mail to Mr. Burque and to members of
the Planning and Zoning Board.
Mr. McLean reported on the Meeting of the Park, Recreational and Environ-
mental Board which met on April 21, 1975. He said that Mrs. Betty Kendall
had resigned due to personal problems. The Clerk was asked to write a
letter of 'Thank' to Mrs. Kendall. Mr. McLean also requested a replacement
for Mrs. Kendall.
