248 <br />May 14, 1979 <br />Mr. Dennis Cunningham had called about the deed to the 2 acres of land <br />he had purchased from the City. Mr. Cunningham agreed to pay the original <br />cost of $50.00 plus all legal fees involved in the transfer of this land. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the transfer of title of this parcel of land <br />subject to the legal fees and the $50.00 being paid by Mr. Cunningham. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />-1 Mr. Schneider has been consulting with Mr. Charles Hodge of Excelsior <br />on the matter of a full time Administrator. He will either be present <br />or have a letter for discussion at the meeting scheduled for May 31, 1979. <br />Mr. Schneider explained some of the variables in the cash flow and said <br />the rate structure on the utilities must be updated for the 3rd quarter. <br />There was some discussion on the projected costs of the clean up days. <br />Mayor Karth will talk to Mr. Volk on this matter. <br />The Clerk was requested to send a copy of the financial report to the <br />Chairman of the Park Board. <br />Mr. Zelinka reported on the meeting of the Park Board held on May 7, <br />1979. Mr. Amundsen, of the Lions Club, presented the proposed shelter <br />to be erected at Lino Park. THis shelter is 24x40, is all metal, pre - <br />finished, with posts set in concrete. The location will be decided so <br />that it will not interfer with preent equipment in the Park. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the structure for Lino Park. Seconded by <br />Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved that the building permit fee be absorbed by tehe City. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />There was discussion on the proposal of the all- season building to be <br />constructed at City Hall Park. Mr. Zelinka moved to authorize Mr. Volk <br />to consult with Mr. Gotwald on this building with the expenditures not <br />to exceed $200.00. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />The Park Board members had requested mileage expenses to be paid by the <br />City. Mr. Zelinka suggested this for all Board members. There was a <br />suggestion of perhaps a flat tee rather than mileage. The Clerk was in- <br />structed to put this matter on the next agenda under the Mayor's report. <br />Mr. Zelinka presented the various ideas as discussed by the Park Board <br />about the proposed building. <br />The Park Board had also recommended a re- evaluation of the $1100.00 per <br />acre for money in leiu of land for Park purposes. This to be done as of <br />June 1. 1979. There had also been a recommendation for $150.00 per <br />living unit on the unplatted areas with a yearly increase according to <br />the cost of living index. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to put up a signe at City Hall Park with Mr. Volk to <br />get prices and come back with a design. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />1 <br />Mr. Schneider asked the Clerk to get a list from the League of Cities on III <br />current charges for on -sale liquor licenses. <br />Mr. Schneider moved to set a hearing on just the On -Sale liquor licenses <br />at 10:00 P.M. May 29, 1979 and send letters to all holders of current <br />
