258 May 29, 1979 Kulaszewicz.. Motion dec1ax,ed AD4q ed; Mr. McLean wondered if the matter of the second well should be authorized at this time. Mr. Zelinka felt it probably would be less costly to do as part of this project. Mr. Gotwald said this must be done as a separate project, but some of the work can be done at this time and he will have an informal report for the Council in a few weeks. It will take about 6/8 weeks to complete the report on the improvements but this can be ready sooner. The hearing on the subject of Deer Pass Trail was called to order at 9:45 P.M. Mr. Gotwald said ti would cost approximately $6000.00 to up grade that street to City specifications. Thw owners of the 30 acres to the South and West had talked to Mr. Gotwald and indicated they might participate in the upgrading of this street in order to gain access to their property. Mr. LaBuda said he would like the street left as it - no imporvements done. Mayor Karth asked his reasons for this position and Mr. LaBuda said he has no plats for the area. Mr. Gotwald said if this cost is split down the middle, it would cost Mr. LaBuda approximately $500.00 per lot. Mr. Prokop asked how the road specifications differ from the specifications in 1974? Mr. Gotwald said they were the same. Mr. Prokop asked if the Council can decide that the road is complete? Mr. Gotwald itemized the things that need to be done before the road is considered complete. Mr. McLean asked what had been expended to date and Mr. Prokop said $6900.00. Mr. McLean moved to instruct Mr. Gotwald to do a feasibility study to bring that street up to City standards and to proceed into the assessment hearing process. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion de- clared passed. Mr. Jankus said he will be in Florida. He is in favor of this project and wanted this to go on the record. It was suggested that he write a letter to that effect. He will also leave his new address at the office. Mr. Zelinka moved to close the hearing at 10:05 P.M. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed. The hearing for consideration of an increase in the On -Sale Liquor Licenses was called to order at 10:05 P.M. The Clerk had obtained a listing from the League of Minnesota Cities on teh current charges by other municipalities. This was discussed. Mr. Schneider suggested each license be increased by $500.00 per year. He asked Mr. Lcoher if this could be done by Resolution and Mr. Locher said, Yes. Mr. McLean said the Planning and Zoning Board is looking at the current fee schedule with possible changes in mind. He felt this should be done by Resolution and then have a hearing on all fees at the same time. Mr. Schneider moved to pass a Resolution to increase the On -Sale Liquor License fee from $2,000.00 per year to $2,500.00 per year effective July 1, 1979 for the year ending June 30, 1980, Sunday to remain at $200.00 Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed.
