There was sone discussion on the charges for Off-sale licenses - why the variance in <br />the charges? Mr. Locher was asked to research this. <br />Mayor Karth reported that specifications for the dump truck will be available at the <br />next meeting. It is necessary to order now for delivery sometime in early 1980. <br />Mr. McLean presented the Planning and Zoning Report from the meeting held on May 16, <br />1979. <br />The Planning and Zoning Board had requested Mr. Locher to bring Ordinance #20, which <br />deals with Council procedures, up to date. <br />Mr. Ken Rehbein had presented preliminary sketch for platting of lands called Arena <br />Acres. The Planning and Zoning Board had made some recommendations for change and <br />asked tha- l-this be returned to Planning and Zoning. Mr. McLean so moved. Seconded <br />by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed, Mayor Karth Abstaining- <br />Mr. Allen Robinson had presented two variances to transfer title of Tots of less than <br />22 acres. Each lot had the required 150' frontage and is all the Land that Mr. Rob- <br />inson owns abutting Pine Street. Planning and Zoning had recommended approvtl with <br />no discussion of Park,Funds. Mr. McLean moved to approve the variance on Lots A & C, <br />with $330.00 to be paid to the Park Fund prior to receipt of the variances. Se- <br />conded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Fran Burque had requested a variance for the transfer of title on a parceliof land <br />of less than 22 acres. The Planning and Zoning had recommended approval with the <br />stipulation that Mr. Burque plain this land and this lot the included in the plat. This <br />plat to be reviewed at the June Plam #ing and Zoning Board meeting. Mr. McLean s,o'moved. <br />Mr. Zelinka asked what happens if the platting is not carried forward. Mr. McLean <br />said Mr. Burque would have to pay the Park Fee. Mr. Burque agreed that he would pay y <br />the amount of $200.00. Motion was seconded by Mr. Ze+inka. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Tim Rehbein had been asked to submit a variance for the secind lot in the mixup on <br />Knoll Drive. The survey for the second variance had not arrived Mr. McLean moved <br />to hold this until this document is available. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion de- <br />clared passed. <br />Mr. Alexjew had applied for a variance for a driveway of over 300 feet. The Planning <br />and Zoning Board had recommended approval. Mr. McLean moved to approve this variance <br />with the stipulations that the maintenance of this driveway be the responsibility of <br />the owner. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Zelinila questioned the City responsibility in case of an emergency and Mr. Locher <br />said the City has no legal responsibility. <br />Mr. Howard Cluckey presented two variances for the splitting of a lot at 7009 Lakeview. <br />This is a corner lot and this has been allowed in this area. Planning and Zoning had <br />recommended approval. Mr. McLean so moved. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion de- <br />clared passed. <br />Mr. Plemmons had asked for variances to split his land into 3 additional lots. There <br />was sorpe discussion that, anything over one lot must become a plat. Mr. Zelinka com- <br />puted the Park Fee of $337.38. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve this variance for Lot 1B -3B & 4B with the Brovision that <br />Mr. Plemmons pay $337.38 to the Park Fund before the variances are issued. Seconded <br />by Mr. Zelinka. Motion decitred passed. <br />
