Also Chief Bennett has <br />added eight (8) new Lino Lakes fire fighters to the District. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to adopt the 1992 Centennial Fire <br />District Budget. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. On a <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />Council Member Kuether noted the major change in the budget <br />regarded salaries for fire fighters. They now will have annual <br />raises similar to what other city employees are getting. <br />CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING, REZONE, TOWN HOMES OF WENZEL FARMS, <br />FIRST READY, ORDINANCE NO. 04 - 91 AND NO. 06 - 91 <br />Mr. Miller explained that this matter was considered at the <br />February 25, 1991 Council meeting and continued until this <br />evening. The Wenzel Farms Town Homes consist of approximately 19 <br />acres of land and the developer proposes to build 75 town homes. <br />The land first must be rezoned from Single Family Residential (R- <br />1) to Medium Density (R -3) and then from R -3 to Planned Unit <br />Development (R -5). Town home plans and landscaping plans were <br />included in the Council packets. Mr. Miller explained that the <br />proposal is for quality housing. <br />Mayor Bisel opened the public hearing at 7:06 P.M. There was no <br />one in the audience to speak for or against the rezone request. <br />Mr. Kirk Corson, representing the developer explained that the <br />proposal will allow less than four (4) units per acre. He noted <br />that the density would be similar to the density allowed in the <br />single family residential districts. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to close the public hearing at 7:07 <br />P.M. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />with Council Member Kuether abstaining. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to approve the first reading of <br />Ordinance No. 04 - 91. Council Member Bohjanen seconded the <br />motion. On a roll call vote, motion carried with Council Member <br />Kuether abstaining. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to approve the first reading of <br />Ordinance No. 06 - 91.
