Mr. <br />Boyd was present and there was much discussion on this problem. Mr. Gotwald said that a <br />cess pool, such as this home has, must have a bottom that is four feet above the water table <br />or the tank must be replaced. He suggested a boring to find the water table in that area. <br />Mr. Zelinka will talk to the owner and get back to Mr. Boyd. <br />Mr. Tom Melchor wasn't present but Mr. Boyd presented his side of the argument over the <br />reinspection on the Melchor plumbing. Mr. Boyd said that it did not pass the final <br />inspection and that if the air leak was below ground that he would forget it, but if the air <br />leak is above ground then it must be found and repaired. <br />There was much discussion on the plumbing Code and how it should be read and enforced. There <br />was some information from the State Inspector on the Berghorst case but Mr. Locher will <br />have more information for the eext meeting. <br />Mr. Beens read the amendment to Ordinance #30. <br />SECTION 2, PERMIT REQUIRED, 2.01. of Ordinance No. 30, of the Village of Lino <br />Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota adopted by the Village Council on November 26, <br />1962, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />SECTION2. PERMIT REQUIRED. <br />2.01. No person shall move any building over, along or across any highway, street <br />or alley in the Village, nor shall any person move or place any building upon any <br />lands within the Vi I lage for a period longer than 24 hours without first obtaining <br />a written permit therefore from the Building Inspector, and paying the required <br />fee therefore to the Village. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved =to accept the amendment to Ordinance #30 which is Ordinance #30 -C. <br />Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Bohjanen reported that the Assessor had hired Mr. ARnold Kell ing to do the field work <br />for her as the Deputy Assessor, also mentioning that the Assessor has the privilege of <br />doing this without the approval of the Council. Mr. zelinka reported that there had been <br />several requests for a light at the driveway into the Village Ha l l . There was discussion <br />as to what type of light and if it is should it be incorporated with some sort of <br />identification sign. Mr. Jaworski will check on reflective signs. Mr. McLean thought that <br />there had been an offer to install one from one of the big advertising companies free at <br />the time of construction. He will check on this. There was also requests for lights at <br />North Road and Highway #49. Mr. Gotwald said there should be a map from the Highway Dept. <br />on their plans for lighting at that intersection included in their construction plans. The <br />Clerk is to check. There is need for a light at the corner of Birch and the second curve, <br />across from the Klang property and at Main and 20th. <br />Mr. Bohjanen asked if Northwestern Bell wasn't required to notify the Village as to when <br />they are working in our Village especially in the laying of underground cable. Mr. Marier <br />said that this a County right -of -way and he was sure that the easement had been obtained <br />from the County. <br />Mr. Jaworski read a letter from Mr. Gotwald stating that the Mi l ler Road has been completed <br />as to specifications and he recommended the release of the bond posted by Mr. Miller. Mr. <br />Jaworski moved to release the bond. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />
