70 11-27=72 Doris Pease said she thought that the Krause business was started a couple of winters ago. Mr. Marier also noted that Action is erecting a new sign. The Clerk was instructed to call and find out about it. Mr. Dupre was asked if he was working on the sign inspecion. He said he had turned in the list and has not received it back from the Clerk's office. The Clerk said she will get an updated list out to him as soon as possible. Mr. Marier reported that the P &Z Board was quite concerned about the crossing of posted fields by Snowmobiles. The suggestion was to contact the SnoGoers and ask their cooperation in informing their members and also to write the Centerville Council requesting that they do the same with Clubs located in Centerville. Mr. Marier moved to have the Clerk contact Mr. Van Housen and ask him to attend the next P &Z Board meeting on December 20, 1972. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. Marier reported that the P &Z Board had rejected the idea of combining the P &Z and the Envioomental Commission. He moved to ikeep the Enviornmental Commission and the P &Z Board separate entities. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Mr. Bohjanen pointed out that Mr. Zelink's idea was to have a liaision member from the P &Z meet with the Enviormental Commission in order for the two bodies to work more closely but not to combine them. Mr. Marier said that was the impression he had gotten. Vote was called for on the motion. Carried. There was discussion on contacting the power company for the installation of lights at the intersections of 20th and Main Street, Birch Street at the intersection of the new part and the old part across from the Klang property and at Main and 4th Avenue. Also to write the St -te Highway and request a light at 4th and Lilac. No decision was made on these suggestions. Mr. Bohjanen reported he has more information on the joint police force. Mr. McMurchie has a tape with the complete proposal if any one care to hear it. He feels that we should gather all imformation possible. There was a meeting set up for the 4th of December with the Police Department and any one else who cares to attend to discuss this problem - the cost - where the center of the force should be 'coated - who is the contractor - and many other things that w i l l be decided before this operation can become a reality. Mr. Bohjanen also reported that he had talked to Mr. Johnson at the Treatment Center and Mr. Johnson would like to set up a meeting with our Councilmen to discuss the need for changes at the Center in the way of Police Protection and what the Center can do in order to fit into our community with the least disturbance of the normal routine of the community. There will be an open house on December 6, 1972, from 3:30 P. M. to 5:30 P. M. All council members will be receiving an invitation. Under old business, the position of the Clerk - Treasurer was discussed. The recommendation of the Personnel Commission was to hire Mrs. Sarner, as the Clerk- Treasurer of the Vi Ilage. Mr. Marier asked about the applications that had been received. Mrs. Sarner said she had made copies of all of them and had turned them over to the Personnel Commission. Mr. Marier felt that the Councilmen should also have a copy. The Clerk will make copies for all Councilmen and mail to them so that this matter may be taken up at the next council meeting. They would also like copies of all applications for the full -time utilities man. This she will also send to them. There was discussion on the two pieces of tax forfeit lands in the Lexington Park Lakeview area. Mr. Cardinal moved to allow the lands to go baek. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. Mrs. Sarner wi I l return them to the Auditor's office.
