1 <br />1 <br />January 22, 1973 <br />Mr. Marier reminded the Council that there must be a transfer of title since a trailer <br />must be licensed. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to make necessary transation on equal term basis with the Centennial <br />School District for the trailer and sander. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Zelinka arrived. <br />The Clerk reported that a re -built IBM typewriter had been delivered to the office. It <br />is a 5 year old machine with all new moving parts. The only original parts being the <br />motor and frame. The Cost is $395.00. She had called IBM on the cost of a new Selectrie <br />IBM and found that for governmental offices the cost is $477.00. Mr. Marier moved that <br />the Clerk get these two bids in writing and present them to the Council. SEconded by <br />Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />The Clerk reported that we have received $124.10 reimbursement for gopher bounties; had <br />received copies on the Ham Lake Incorporation; reported on a letter from Coon Rapids on <br />the possibility of having one central filing office for voter registration. The Council <br />rejected the idea and voted to file this. <br />The Clerk and Police Chief had filled out the forms for Police Aid. The asked that Mr. <br />Locher look them over. <br />Mr. Bohjanen introduced Mr. Robert Vadnais, the plumbing inspector for the V i I l age. Mr. <br />Vadnais reported that he had talked with Mr. Boyd several times and Mr. Boyd had been <br />very cooperative and he had no problems. <br />Mr. Cardinal asked Mr. Vadnais if he understood that he would not be able to operate <br />as a plumber in our Village. Mr. Vadnais said, Yes, he understood. <br />Mr. Marier reported on the P & Z Meeting. Mr. Robert Emery had appeared before the <br />Board for a permit to erect a building next to the Skyline Auto Body shop to be used <br />for the restoration of antique cars. Mr. Gotwald's and Mr. Van Housen's reports were <br />not back and the Board could not act on Mr. Emery's request. Mr. Marier also reported <br />that Mr. Midtaune had appeared before the board seeking information on the platting of <br />some land he had bought from Mrs. Billik. The Board answered his questions and suggested <br />he obtain copies of our Ordinances covering these problems. <br />Mr. Marier reported that they are still working on the Comprehensive Zoning Map and the <br />target date for completion is still the end of March. <br />Mr. Marier asked Mr. Locher if there was any word on the certification of the sign code. <br />Mr. Locher said, No. <br />The Clerk reported that letters had been sent to all persons with sign permits with the <br />information necessary for renewal of their permits. There were some questions by the <br />Deputy Clerk and Mr. Locher was asked to check these. Mr. Locher said these should be <br />renewed also. Mr. Jaworski moved to write a letter to the sign companies informing <br />them that they have 30 days in which to renew their sign permits or the signs must be <br />removed. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal reported on the Park Board Meeting. He presented a plan for 2 ball diamonds <br />for the Hall property. These plans were drawn by Mr. Frank Resch. Mr. Cardinal asked <br />that these plans be given to Mr. Backlin for a cost estimate. He also had some plans for <br />an open type pole building on the Baldwin Lake Property but would need cost figures on <br />this. The Park Board will get these figures. They are still waiting for more information <br />
