Motion carried. <br />The Park proposal by the Lino's Clubhad been presented to the Park Board <br />and Mr. Cardinal moved to approve their recommendation to approve the <br />entire plan. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Mr. Marier amended the motion that <br />new Councils would not be bound by this decision. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. <br />Motion carried. The original motion passed with Mr. Jaworski abstaining. <br />Mr. Cardinal had received a $50.00 check as a deposit for clean -up for the <br />Park from Mr. Bertrand. His insurance wi I I be in the office before the <br />tournament. They also asked permission to move the snow fence back and they <br />will replace it in the original position when the tournament is over. This <br />agreeable with the Council. <br />The Park Board also requested that the new ball diamond on the Hall prop- <br />erty be located on the property near Main Street in front of the Hall <br />rather than on the part behind the Hall. There was discussion on whether <br />to put a pernament fence at this site or to put up a temporary one since <br />this diamond would probably moved in the future. Mr. Jaworski would like <br />the permanent fence put up in Sunrise and a temporary one at this location. <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion to move the site of the Ball Diamond from back <br />of the V i I l age Ha l l to the property located near Main Street in front of <br />the Village Hall. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to install the new fence at the Ball Diamond located <br />on the Village Hall Property. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried <br />with Mr. Jaworski voting, No. Mr. Cardinal had a request from the Lino <br />School to use our snow fence for their ball diamonds as they did last year. <br />The Council was agreeable to this with the request that the School take the <br />fence down and roll it up when they have finished using it. Mr. Cardinal <br />wi 11 take care of this. <br />Mr. Jaworski reported that H &S Asphalt has started the road program. He <br />asked Mr. Backlin for a progress report. Mr. Backlin reported the prime <br />coating is almost completed. The county line is left to do. Work will <br />start on the other roads this week and the seal coating should be done <br />next week. They will start digging out on 77th, the County Line, 80th and <br />Holly. There was discussion on some property owned by Mr. Arnold Theis <br />abutting 77th. <br />Mr. Bohjanen asked about Pine Street. Mr. Jaworski said he would contact <br />Columbus Township on this. He had planned to attend their last Council <br />meeting but was unalbe to get on the agenda. The Clerk was instructed to <br />call Mr. Gotwald and find if he had contacted the Engineer for Hugo and if <br />he had an answer as to their intentions on the County Line. <br />Mr. Jaworski reported that he had two bids for the removal of the stumps <br />on Peltier Drive. One from Lino Lakes Landscaping for $1,570.00 and one <br />from Glenn Rehbein for $775.00. Mr. Jaworski moved to award the job to Mr. <br />Glen Rehbein. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. Also, Mr. Jaworski <br />commented on the number of junk cars that have accumulated in our Village. <br />He moved to have the cars that have accumulated in our Village. He moved <br />to have the Police start issuing tags on April 28, 1973 and give the owners <br />two weeks to remove them. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. <br />
