228
December 10, 1973
Mr. Frazer, from the audience, said that he could see no signs of anything being
removed, there was no change as far as he could determine. There had been no
crews there working as far as he had seen. He
reported that Mr. Bruder owns land in Blaine, but he cannot get a permit even to
build a house.
Mr. Marier moved to check on him and have a progress report for the next meeting.
Seconded by Mr. Cardinal.
Mr. Hanson, from the audience, said that
to get some people in and help him clean
that Mr. Bruder doesn't know what has to
children has toys in the yard, are these
he had talked to Mr. Bruder and offered
up the property. Mr. Frazer said there is about 300 pieces of childrens toys laying in
a corner next to his property and that Mr. Bruder could not afford to buy that
amount of toys for his children and if he did, why aren't they put away?
Mr. Hanson said that Mr. Bruder said that one reason he had to sell was that he
has about $40,000.00 on the books as uncollectiable.
Mr. Marier said that this man has to use common sense. Nobody is asking him to
deprive himself or his family of anything, just to clean up the mess. Mr. Marier
called for a vote on the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
The Ordinance on Council salary raise was discussed and the laws governing the
raise was discussed. The motion to put this on the ballots was passed at a budget
meeting and had been omitted from this years ballots.
Mr. Jaworski moved to table the Salary Ordinance.
