248 <br />February 11, 1974 <br />with the Anoka County Commissoners scheduled for Feb. 27, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. <br />Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. <br />The Clerk was instructed to post notice in three places of the Special Council <br />meeting for Feb. 13, 1974 at 8:00 p.m. in the City Hall. <br />Mr. Jaworski reported that the roads were in good shape. Also he had a Resolution <br />from Centerville on a interchange at 35W and County Road 14. He also stated <br />that this Resolution was passed in Washington. <br />Mr. Jaworski motioned a Resolution requesting an interchange at 35W and County <br />Road 14. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk was instructed to send copies of the Resolution to Representative <br />Blatnick in Washington, Robert Burman in Anoka County, Metro Council and make <br />a file for Lee Starr. Also send copies of Centervilles Resolution. <br />Mr. Jaworski mentioned that he didn't sign requistion No. 385. The reason for <br />this is that the 9162 Ford dump truck isn't worth the repair. Total cost for <br />repair would be from $1700 to $1800 and in a lot it will still only be worth <br />$300.00. <br />The Council suggested that Mr. Jaworski get estimates on a new dump truck and <br />check the budget allocation. <br />Mr. Marier reported no meeting with the Planning and Zoning Board. He would <br />like the Council's approval to have Mr. Locher and Mr. Lee Starr attend the <br />next P &Z meeting and discuss the land use plan. Motion was made by Mr. Zelinka. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean reported that the first meeting will be Feb. 18, 1974 at 8:00 p.m. <br />This will be in line with the Ordinance for Park, Recreation & Environmental <br />Quality it was decided to make the adjustments and have it ready for the next <br />Council meeting. <br />Mr. Zelinka reported that he had attended the Circle Pines UTility Com. meeting. <br />It was stated that Lino Lakes is the only ones not satisfied. Also the reason <br />for the legal costs being so high is the lack of growth. <br />The Personnel Commission met Jan. 31, 1974. New Officers were elected for the <br />year as follows. Chairman Lawrence Johnson, Secretary Francis Kelly. Also they <br />ask the Council for the recomendation of a new member. And hire Deputy Clerk full <br />time. <br />Mr. Jaworski said the Deputy Clerk was hired as full time of empolyment. <br />Mr. Marier - Full time -part time. Nothing to do with full because time is divided <br />between Police and Clerk. <br />Mr. Jaworski made a motion to bond the Deputy Clerk so she can sign checks in <br />the absence of the Clerk. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Locher suggested getting this bond at the same place as the Clerk's. <br />Mr. Zelinka asked if the Council was prepared to pass on the wages or study them <br />until next meeting. Also establish a Resolution or Ordinance on this. <br />
