Mr. Jaworski felt it wasn't necessary and that he himself
doesn't need or want one; also, the door might be left open accidently. Mrs.
Swanson stated that she would like one because at night when the phone rings
she can't get in to answer it. She noted that one could push in the folding
window if they wanted to. Mr. Bohjanen asked what was so touchy about this.
Mr. Jaworski thought that the Assessor's books were out on her table. Mr.
Bohjanen stated that the Clerk had said most things could be locked up. Mrs.
Gould commented that if one member has a key all should have one; we should
trust all the officials we elect. Mr. Bohjanen stated that he had a key; Mr.
Jaworski agreed that it was handy for the Mayor to sign checks. Mr. Bohjanen
stated that if the other members want a key there is no reason why they can't
have one. Mrs. Swanson asked how often the police chief is here in the evening.
Mr. Jaworski thought he was in every evening. Mrs. Swanson thought the police
chief could check the office doors to make sure no one left them open.
Mr. Marier noted that for the coming P&Z meeting they would like to mane the
Forrest Tagg hearing to March 15th per Mr. Tagg's request; they would tak up
Glenn Rehbein at that time.
Mr. Marier recommended sending a letter to the people who have signs on their
property along freeways concerning the State's new laws; there will be a lot of
controversy on this. He stated that spot zoning wasout; they require a 800'
setback for industrial firms; the only signs will be on industrial and commer-
cial lands.
Mr. Marier stated that the P&Z wanted an answer back on Robert Wilson's build-
ing permit; the Clerk stated that there was no building permit. Mr. Jaworski
stated that Wilson uses the address on the mail box, that Mary had found his
brother, but he won't tell Wilson's address. Mr. Locher stated that we can't
get the address; however, he had talked with Mr. Astrup of the County Health
Dept. who will also check on this property. Mr. Bohjanen noted that we need a
24 -hour stake -out to catch him. Crystal Ahlman stated that she had Wilson's
phone number, having talked to him on several occasions on business. Mr.
Locher thought we may be able to trace his address through the phone number.
Mrs. Swanson explained to Crystal that we just wanted to talk to the man.
Mr. Marier stated that S. Wilson who owns the riding stable on Birch St. is
advertising snowmobile trails and camping sites; they rent to anybody. He
gave the phone number to the Clerk, and stated that we should send him a letter
to appear before the Council, indicating that they are in violation of their
zoning. Mr. Marier moved to send such a letter to have them come to the next
meeting at 8 :15 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously.
Mr. Bohjanen asked Mr. Locher if he had gotten any calls back on the Wilson
people's horses being out. Mr. Locher stated that warrants were out; he did-
n't know how Sandra Dobryanow had pled, but she had indicated that she would
plead not guilty. Andy had held 5 horses to be released if she paid the costs.
Other people would have to go after her for damages. Mr. Locher had called
Dave O'Connor her attorney, and asked if he wouldn't try to get through to
her since she is not capable of handling the horses. Miss Dobryanow had indi-
cated that the corral had been opened by someone and there were large man's
tracks near the corral. Mr. Locher wondered if she had a persecution complex.
He had told her he could understand the horses getting out once or twice, but
it has been something like 15 times. Other people had complained that the
horses had been in a haystack, a corn field and an alfalfa field. He didn't
know the status of the ticket.
ssdsucaseddtaPocebs de eek; they had
discueprhorersndvuhrs to be used by the Viliageas well as
177
